Mariana Paris is a junior at Patrick Henry College, majoring in Government with a concentration in American Politics and Policy. A Puertorican by birth and a Texan by upbringing, Mariana is interested in pursuing a career in law and mental health advocacy. She loves participating in Moot Court and Mock Trial and has been interning at SimmsShowers law firm in Leesburg for the past year. This is her 6th semester working on the George Wythe Review, but her first as part of the Editorial Board. She was published in the Review her freshman year. Besides reading supreme court cases and writing research papers for fun, Mariana enjoys coffee, spontaneous adventures with friends, and the comfort of good home-cooked food.
